Class: Druid

- First Name: Jason

- Your Country / Time zone: USA -EST

- Age:20

- Do you have Ventrilo and working microphone? yes/yes

- Are you able to handle mature (or immature) content on Ventrilo and in guild chat? Yes

- Do you have the capacity to clearly communicate, yet have a knowledge of when it's appropriate to keep comments to yourself? Yes

- Are you presently employed or a student. Will it interfere with your ability to raid? Will you be able to attend 99% of our raids? Do you have any other Real Life obligations which might prevent you from attending 99% of our raids? I am student. The lastest i have classes are till 6:30ish and it will not interfere in raiding.

- Do you have any PC or disconnect issues we should know about? nope

- Class / Character Name: Druid / Sporkyz
- Race: Tauren
- Professions: Inscription / Tailoring
- Do your professions increase your performance in raids? Explain your choices
Yes, This character started as an alt so I leveled inscription instead of Sons of Hoir rep for the SP benefit. I recently dropped herbalism for tailoring because Lightweave is one of the better profession benefits for casters.

- Total time played (/played) and Time played at 80 47 days, 38 days at 80 (71 days played on my warrior, 34 at 80)

-Is this your first main character? If not what did you used to play? When did you start playing WoW? Please provide detailed information about time spent on all your previous characters. Tell us as much as you can, the more the better. No, I played pre-bc as a mage, stopped playing until near the end of BC when I leveled a warrior and played my warrior up to the first few weeks of Ulduar.

-Main Spec: (x/x/x) (include a link from http://www.wowhead.com if it differs from the spec you presently have on armory). If you have a relevant offspec for raiding, tell us about that as well.
58/0/13, The Relevant raiding offspec I have is also 58/0/13, but changes the single target dps talents for aoe talents such as typhoon and gale winds.

-Amory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.x...&cn=Sporkyz

-What is your current guild? Reality Check

-What were the last 3 guilds you were in? What are the reasons for leaving your last and current guild?
On my warrior i was in Pulse, Lethal Industry, and Supercilious before switching to my druid, and left them all when they broke up. My druid has been in Supercilious (left due to poor leadership) and in Reality Check which I am still in. I haven't left RC and I am applying elsewhere because I am looking for a change and noone has a problem with raiders apping out, because our officers do it regularly.

Tell us about your time in each and how active you were in each. I don't recall how long i was in most of the guilds, but it was about enough time to make it up to core raider for a week or two before the guild broke up. I have been a raider in RC since before TOC, but stopped raiding for a brief time when school conflicted with raid times.

- What end game raiding experience do you have? (This includes in vanilla WoW, TBC and WOTLK. be specific.) Be thorough. The more detail the better. In vanilla i raided on my mage on kalecgos up to Twins in aq40, then stuck to PvP with friends before BC came out. I started playing agian in BC and got up to KJ after 3.0 ( up to Illidan before 3.0) on my warrior. In WOTLK I have done t7,t8 (minus HM mimi/vezax/yogg) t9 (minus H25 anub) and t10 (I have downed every boss boss in 25 man excluding Lich king, Sindragosa, and BQL. I have put in attempts on BQL and downed her on ten man however.)

- Any special Achievements / Titles / Mounts you have earned in PvE you would like us to know about?
My warrior has GOTR for naxx, My druid has GOTUR, 10/25 algalon kills, and Mad Skill in ten man togc. My warrior also has a Swift Zulian Tiger (which is awesome).
- Link to WWS / WMO logs of recent raids you attended - My guild does not run WWS/WMO, my dps ranged from 1-3 on ten man, 7-15th on 25 man. I use potions of speed on any fight where it will be relevant, and am always flasked.

- Quick Summary of your "Valuable" Stats (Healing, Attack Power, etc.) SP Haste and crit are all good, I am over the haste soft cap, nearing the crit soft cap, and have 3151 sp before spyglass/moonkin form. Sp is the most important stat, and crit/haste are about equal to eachother.

- Which major glyphs do you currently use? Explain your choices
Moonfire-no other option, good for DPS
Starfire- no other option good for DPS
Insect swam- the third glyph for moonkins is either IS or starfall, I recently changed to IS because for single target fights it provides slightly more dps. I would return to the starfall glyph if the RL feels the 3% hit debuff to the boss is more important than minimal dps.

- Do you have dualspec, and is your offspec something you could viably play in raids? Yes, I have a resto spec that I use to find random heroics, no I could not raid as resto because I have no gear for it, and my spec is wrong/has no glyphs, mostly because I filled it out while tanks were pulling trash :/ I have decent feral gear (245/251) and could spec feral dps for raids if given a heads up beforehand.

- What spec do you prefer? Are you willing to respec if an emergency arises? Are you willing to respec to the optimal spec for a progression boss? I prefer balance, but would respec to help the raid anyway i can, which is normally speccing into improved aoe for anub.

- How do you feel about sitting out for any given encounter if we do not need you? I would be disapointed, but if i'm not needed then i'm not needed.

- Are you willing to spend 400+ gold a night in repairs and consumables, stay focused and wipe for 4 hours straight, come back the next day and do it all over again until a new boss dies (even on "farm" content)? Gold should not be an issue for anyone who raids, and yes I would spend that much on repairs/flask/potions.

- What is your reason for applying? What makes us more appealing that any one of the thousands of other raiding guilds out there? I want a change from my current guild, there are quite a few things that I don't like about where we are / where we are going, WWA is more appealing because I am already on magtheridon horde and WWA is a guild that is always a top guild on the server.
- Who, if anyone, will vouch for your abilities in WWA? Phrequency
- Post a screenshot of your UI.(If you are having trouble, use the free image hosting resources of http://imageshack.us) http://img96.imageshack.us/i/wowscrnshot020510191906.jpg/ Raid frames go on the left below my character.
- Last words: Show us what sets you apart from the rest of the candidates; what makes you better? What can you bring to WWA? What do you want us to know that wasn’t covered? Let us know why WE want YOU. This is your last chance to impress us, be thorough. Do not answer this question with one sentence. Once again, the more complete the answer, the better. I have played WoW a long time, know my class inside and out, and show up to raids to do my job. As a boomkin i bring plenty of buffs to the raid(5% spell crit, 3% spell hit, 3% haste, 13% spell damage, BR, and Innervate for mages/healers) and when I saw that you were looking for ranged dps and your last boomkin left I am hoping to take that spot.

Will definitely vouch for him. Played with him for a while in Supershitious while he played his prot warrior, rarely made any mistakes however I really haven't seen him play on his druid

Do you stand in rocket strikes?

On a more serious note, i'm considering how much a moonkin would benefit us. We previously had raided with one, but as of right now we have all the moonkin raidbuffs covered. that being said, you might be worth some consideration because you might actually do some damage. I'll get back to you.

PS: The bit about RC made me chuckle tongue.gif.

a Boomkin is a valuable class for a raid. An optimal raid setup would use one. I like this guys app as well.

Mages, yes.

At the start of the fight I always give it to an arcane mage, later in a fight either one of our healers is low, or I battle rez someone and give it to them when they come up. It is rare that I can give innervate to an arcane mage twice without one healer being completely oom by the end of a fight.

Demo locks are VERY mana inefficient. An innervate would be wonderful.

They don't go oom because they always die early.
