I understand that the 'warrior recruitment' is closed, and my gear is by no means exceptional. I thought I'd throw in an app anyways.
- First Name: Mike - Your Country / Time zone: USA / Central - Age: 22 - Do you have Ventrilo and working microphone? Yes, I tend to be more quiet on vent though. - Are you able to handle mature (or immature) content on Ventrilo and in guild chat? Yeah, even if it gets truly out of hand, I can cope. - Do you have the capacity to clearly communicate, yet have a knowledge of when it's appropriate to keep comments to yourself? Indeed, this was a main problem with one of my older guilds. - Are you presently employed or a student. Will it interfere with your ability to raid? Will you be able to attend 99% of our raids? Do you have any other Real Life obligations which might prevent you from attending 99% of our raids? Not employed, not a student. Although I'm looking for a job, I'm just addicted enough to plan my work schedule around raiding. - Do you have any PC or disconnect issues we should know about? My PC is fine, although I'm currently in a fight with my ISP who deny that I have any problems with my connection. 95% uptime is NOT acceptable to me. - Class / Character Name: Warrior - fury/ Keuse - Race: Troll (female - Professions: Engineering/Enchanting - Do your professions increase your performance in raids? Explain your choice. Yes, they do gloves+racial 'zerking is almost as good as Blust. I chose them loooong ago (like... longcat long ago) when I first made my char and have stuck with em since. - Total time played (/played) and Time played at 80: 88 Days total, 20 days 2 hrs and 55 seconds at 80. -Is this your first main character? If not what did you used to play? When did you start playing WoW? Please provide detailed information about time spent on all your previous characters. Tell us as much as you can, the more the better. Oh wow, ok, story time -Main Spec: (14/57/0) Standard cookie cutter fury build. Gonna swap out Imp cleave for 1 Imp. Execute and 2 Imp 'zerker rage. (according to Landsouls' SS its about a 30 dps increase on single target) -Amory Link: Armory Link -What is your current guild? Calm Down -What were the last 3 guilds you were in? What are the reasons for leaving your last and current guild? Tell us about your time in each and how active you were in each. Calm Down/Magtheridon, Having issues in 25 man ICC. Not necessarily issues we can't overcome, but, in all reality when I'm the last to die because of slime or infections/oozes on Rotface... sigh. Amplified/Anub'arak, The guild where not one, not two, but, three "females" from that guild turned out to be grown men in real life.... Uhg. Mass ninja xfer killed that guild dead. Delerium/blackwing Lair, First real raiding guild, these were the cats that couldn't take adds on Akama. Oddly enough, they're still active and doing well on BWL. There are other guilds in between these but these are the main highlights to my raiding.... experience. - What end game raiding experience do you have? (This includes in vanilla WoW, TBC and WOTLK. be specific.) Be thorough. The more detail the better. No vanilla, I was about 55 when BC hit. Everything in BC except after Akama (also no Kael kill). Everything so far in Wrath except for Yogg, Have some experience in ToGC10 (and please don't rip me apart) but haven't killed Anub'. Guild didn't think it worth it after 3.3. I understand that "Anub HM 25 is the only fight" but, in 3.3 my guild currently doesn't believe it to be worth the trouble of eating a 25man night (we only raid 25 two nights a week) - Any special Achievements / Titles / Mounts you have earned in PvE you would like us to know about? Sadly, no. got close to a rusted proto on my shaman but, haven't had enough stability to really get any of the metas worked out yet - Link to WWS / WMO logs of recent raids you attended. Completely forgot about the logs being needed. Ill get one tonight from our 10 man ICC. - Quick Summary of your "Valuable" Stats (Healing, Attack Power, etc.) Contrary to what armory says, (I think it doesn't take things like Improved Beserker stance for account) i have 5499 AP w/o battle shout. 39% crit completely unbuffed. Capped on Expertise and just a bit (2%) over soft cap on hit. - Which major glyphs do you currently use? Explain your choices Execute, whirlwind, Heroic Strike. Nothing else to use that's even remotely viable. - Do you have dualspec, and is your offspec something you could viably play in raids? I do have dual spec. It's an arms PvE spec. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not that great at Arms for some reason (about a 1k dps drop) - What spec do you prefer? Are you willing to respec if an emergency arises? Are you willing to respec to the optimal spec for a progression boss? Fury, through and through. I have a pretty shitty Prot set that I only use if I really need to spam out some insta-queue heroics, but, I rarely need that anymore. I don't mind respecing for a night. - How do you feel about sitting out for any given encounter if we do not need you? Not a huge deal, while I like feeling useful, I understand from a raid leaders point. - Are you willing to spend 400+ gold a night in repairs and consumables, stay focused and wipe for 4 hours straight, come back the next day and do it all over again until a new boss dies (even on "farm" content)? Yeah, it's hurts the gold purse a lot but, I can do that. - What is your reason for applying? What makes us more appealing that any one of the thousands of other raiding guilds out there? Well, I knew Killmour from Wrath beta and was always kinda jelious of him. Always wanted to be in a really serious (raiding-wise) guild. - Who, if anyone, will vouch for your abilities in WWA? Killmour. - Post a screenshot of your UI.(If you are having trouble, use the free image hosting resources of http://imageshack.us) UI link. - Last words: You might... MIGHT remember me from when ToGC was just getting started, and if I remmber correctly you said to come back with better gear. The situation hasn't changed a whole lot, but, it can't hurt too badly to give it another shot. Thanks for reading my story for a 3rd time now.... :s |

Your gear isn't that bad.
You say you are going to "fix" your talents but you should probably do that before you apply, not "Oh, if I get accepted I will change them since it's suppose to be a DPS upgrade" you should want the 30dps upgrade and already have it fixed. You said it yourself in the app. You don't have much experience. You don't have any really good TBC experience and you also don't have any good Wrath experience. I suppose you have putricide down which is nice, (no blood queen? Maybe you're doing that tonight?) Also, you say you're friends with Killmour, LOL. Killmour has friends? I guess it's true when they say you learn something new everyday... -------------------- ![]() Just because you're unique, doesn't mean you're useful. -------+------[BOSS]+++++++ |

We already have two fury warriors, so I am not sure how badly we are going to need a third.
Either way, a few tips to improve your DPS. *Too much hit rating. I have actually reached a point where hit is a worthwhile stat for my warrior, but this is not the case for a soft-ArP capped warrior. Swapping any hit items for non-hit items (unless expertise) of similar or higher Ilvl will almost certainly give you a DPS boost. *Your greatness card is a out of date. There are quite a few trinkets which are better than greatness, but maybe your luck sucks. *Your neck is kind of bad. There are many, many better necks which are easily accessible. *What have you been doing with your emblems of frost? I am not sure if you swap glyphs per fight, but glyph of cleaving is almost always superior to execution, especially with 3/3 imp cleave. Also, I would highly suggest dropping a point out of imp cleave or CP to get heroic fury. On every boss fight in ICC, I think heroic fury is worth having with the exceptions of rotface, lana'thel and festergut. I cant check your keybinds as they are hidden, but I assume you have most every ability bound. I do notice that you only have 6 bandages. Always wanna keep stalked up on the consumables :> -------------------- ![]() |

Oh, wow, fast reply.
Anyway, the talents thing wasn't meant as a 'if i get accepted thing' I was just noting that I was doing that today (and noting that I know how to use a SS I can't really explain away my lack of experience, I can say that I'm a quick learner, and that I do look up strats, ect. But, as for actually doing the fights... yeah, it's a big reason I want a real serious guild. Now, friends with kill? Eh, we were buddies in wrath beta, but, I haven't gotten much of a chance to call myself a good friend or anything. Also, please don't take any comments I make now as inflammatory, I'm just trying to explain myself against any comments made. Edit: Yeah, greatness card is pretty lame, just like my luck sometimes :\ I got distracted with a couple of RL things today, but, I'm on track to have new wrists (the ToC crafted ones) by tomorrow and the neck I can't really help outside of getting very lucky in ToC25. |

Yeah, even if you did improve, I honestly dont think we would bring three fury warriors to a raid, but that is up to the officers :< With a few peices, you should do a lot more dps, such as your neck.

Just checking in, and I just remembered I logged our (albeit terrible) ICC10 run from a couple of weeks ago. Go ahead and peruse them if you'd like.
wow meters online Yes, it really took 15 times to kill Princes. No Putricide kill since "it was late, WHaaaAa." |

While your app has much improved since the first time, we have 2 raiding (dps) warriors and a third would be excessive (not to mention 2 rets and 2 dks, so gear distribution is beyond fucked up). So presently, we don't have a spot for you, but we can let this thread bounce around a bit, keep working on your gear, your persistence is certainly noticed. -------------------- Sarkasmos Sarkosis Sark Sarkysark Sarkasmoslol Sarx Sarkoma SarkasmosTwo Sarkonious
