Kittysafe - Priest - Holy/Disc - Cross Server Applicant
- First Name: Jonathan - Your Country / Time zone: USA / EST - Age: 27 - Do you have Ventrilo and working microphone? Yes on both counts - Are you able to handle mature (or immature) content on Ventrilo and in guild chat? Yes - Do you have the capacity to clearly communicate, yet have a knowledge of when it's appropriate to keep comments to yourself? I'm fairly articulate, gotta be in my line of work. And I can keep a lid on it. - Are you presently employed or a student. Will it interfere with your ability to raid? Will you be able to attend 99% of our raids? Do you have any other Real Life obligations which might prevent you from attending 99% of our raids? I teach seond grade and am available to raid. - Do you have any PC or disconnect issues we should know about? No - Class / Character Name: Priest - Kittysafe - Race: Bloodelf - Professions: Tailoring 450 / JC 450 - Do your professions increase your performance in raids? Explain your choices Yes, I chose my professions with raiding soley in mind. Tailoring for the regen and cutting edge recipes, and JC for the mad boosts that are better than enchanting I had previously. - Total time played (/played) and Time played at 80 233 Days total, 77 days at 80 -Is this your first main character? If not what did you used to play? When did you start playing WoW? Please provide detailed information about time spent on all your previous characters. Tell us as much as you can, the more the better. Been playing since 2004 beta, was alliance the first two years (priest raiding, and rogue alt for farming and PVP) Rerolled horde with friends, priest again because I've always preferred healing. -Main Spec: (x/x/x) (include a link from http://www.wowhead.com if it differs from the spec you presently have on armory). If you have a relevant offspec for raiding, tell us about that as well. -Amory Link: [paste your link here] (Be sure to log out with your raiding gear on) http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.x...amp;n=Kittysafe Discipline offspec for Anub, and whenever else it comes in handy. -What is your current guild? None. -What were the last 3 guilds you were in? What are the reasons for leaving your last and current guild? Proverbial Fire on Turyalon - Didn't feel like I got a fair shake with them. I busted my ass, but while others made many mistakes during raids, if I made a single mistake it was the end of the world. This was in part to them trying out 3 priests at the same time, and not being very communicative about things with members. Tell us about your time in each and how active you were in each. Was very active, and helped a lot of people in the guild over the 2-3 months I was there. - What end game raiding experience do you have? (This includes in vanilla WoW, TBC and WOTLK. be specific.) Be thorough. The more detail the better. Raided everything in Vanilla, BC and WOTLK. - Any special Achievements / Titles / Mounts you have earned in PvE you would like us to know about? Hand of Adal pre nerf, Tundra Mount, first group on old server to get black war mount at 70, only group to do so. - Link to WWS / WMO logs of recent raids you attended http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/22320/ - Quick Summary of your "Valuable" Stats (Healing, Attack Power, etc.) 3k+ healing, tons of regen never have mana problems really. - Which major glyphs do you currently use? Explain your choices Guardian Spirit, POH, COH - Do you have dualspec, and is your offspec something you could viably play in raids? Yes: Discipline - What spec do you prefer? Are you willing to respec if an emergency arises? Are you willing to respec to the optimal spec for a progression boss? Holy, yes. - How do you feel about sitting out for any given encounter if we do not need you? That's fine. - Are you willing to spend 400+ gold a night in repairs and consumables, stay focused and wipe for 4 hours straight, come back the next day and do it all over again until a new boss dies (even on "farm" content)? Of course. - What is your reason for applying? What makes us more appealing that any one of the thousands of other raiding guilds out there? Just putting my feelers out there to new guilds, and I liked what I saw from your guild recruitment post - Who, if anyone, will vouch for your abilities in WWA? - Post a screenshot of your UI.(If you are having trouble, use the free image hosting resources of http://imageshack.us) I code the #5 most popular UI on wowinterface.com KittyUI Screenshot: http://s.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw34354.jpg - Last words: Show us what sets you apart from the rest of the candidates; what makes you better? What can you bring to WWA? What do you want us to know that wasn’t covered? Let us know why WE want YOU. This is your last chance to impress us, be thorough. Do not answer this question with one sentence. Once again, the more complete the answer, the better. I'm a very loyal and hard working member of any guild. I listen well, and have a strong sense of humor, and committment. I am always prepared, and have a lot of fun helping make a raid successful. |

a few questions: why do you use glyph of renew over PoH? Why do you gem crit so heavily? Look forward to reading your answers. Sure thing. Didn't use POH on Anub and was asked to respec all kinds of things for it so just kept POH glyph out of the mix for now. I have 470 haste and with high crit can shave a point from surge of light for procs. I don't have any mana issues so I dropped some int for spellpower and haste/spirit for crit. I'll be looking at changing things up for ICC though. Normally I do use POH glyph |

Depending on the availablity of items (and believe me, i know about not getting trinkets) you might have a net gain using a throughput trinket and gemming int over crit, however that's a minor detail. Either way, your answers satisfied me. Contact me in game. -------------------- ![]() |

ya I hear you, in fact it's something I've been thinking on heavily lately.
I should tell you, I will be in New York with family from Dec 24-Jan 5, but I'm sure you figured holidays would be a crazy time. My characters are all on Turyalon right now, I've got no qualms spending the money to xfer, after all all my ingame buddies are spread all over the place now, and I've got no love lost for Turyalon. Let me know what you want me to do, xfer now, or throw up an alt so we can hammer out some Q&A. Thanks. ~jonathan |

Why do you have one jc gem but have 23sp gems?
Why not divine fury over spell warding? Your gheals are really fast with serendipity and its not like you always need poh every 3 stack. -------------------- ![]() (\ /) ( . .) c('')('') |

That's very true, and generally I spec for DF, but I was just playin around with Spell Warding for PC, though honestly I have no idea if it helps for PC. I'll probably go back to DF, nothing beats a speedier greater heal standard. Those are both great questions. Feel free to ask me anythin. |

I can't see your spec because it says unspecced, for me, however i do use spellwarding over divine fury. The amount of gheals you use as holy should probably be about 0. Typically your sole job as a holy priest would be prayer/circle/pom/rolling renew on the tank. Throwing flashes out with Surge. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bVcbuZfEzcbMqihMcuAo:0Nd -------------------- ![]() |
